I’ve been working with this client for some time now—and she continues to impress on every level.

At 50 years old and just 48kg, she’s deadlifting over 100kg—an incredible achievement by any standard.

Her work ethic is second to none. She shows up, puts in the effort, and consistently pushes her limits.

While body composition is a by-product, it’s her strength that truly stands out.

She’s also recently achieved her fastest 5km time, finishing in 23 minutes.

I’ve been coaching Emma in group classes at RT Fitness for some time, and she has also been working with me online for the past six months. Her goals have been clear from the start: move well, stay pain-free, build strength, and manage her weight.

She has made excellent progress across all areas. While she has steadily reduced her weight, her strength gains have been particularly impressive—achieving an estimated 1-rep max deadlift of 124kg and a back squat of 82kg.

Most importantly, Emma is now able to move freely without pain. This is a significant milestone and, ultimately, the foundation for long-term health and performance.

Meet Our Mick!

Mick has been with me for just over a year. At 66, he wanted to make a change and improve his health and well-being, and lose a little timber as well. Although he hasn’t tracked his food, he has made some small changes to his diet and added daily activity.

He started with me at 97kg, created some solid habits and is now down to 87kg. Just little changes over a period rather than dropping his calories too quick and making sustainable habits create long lasting results.

He turned 67 last week and feeling better, looking better and moving better.

Massive well done buddy.
